Review - Idol Project
February 18, 2008 – 9:17 pmReview by Roriconfan
Story: 4
A team of weird dressed girls plans on becoming pop idols. The leading girl wants to become a singing idol, so she gets in wacky situations before eventually managing to sing on stage.
That’s pretty much it. Only 4 episodes of wackiness, mediocre ecchi, pseudo-yuri and singing to the masses. Expect nothing else.
Characters: 2
Totally flat and uninteresting. Not funny, not original, without personality or character development. They exist just to arouse boys with fetish cloths and pseudo-yuri scenes and fill the minds of immature girls with ideas about becoming pop singers.
Animation: 5
Bad! Too crude and wacky. They are filled with lots of details but they are all too lame and inconsistent with one another to actually give a damn. Motion fluidity is bad as there is plenty of choppy animation and stale imaging. The best parts were the fetish cloths and some dream-like background panels.
Sound: 7
Good! Voice acting was mediocre but the songs of the leading girl were sweet. Cheesy and pop crap but sweet nonetheless.
Value & Enjoyment: 1
None! It’s a pointless title with nothing to attract you for long. You can get better fetishes or pseudo-yuri or pop idol drama elsewhere.
Verdict
The accused is found … GUILTY! … of making us fall asleep with his songs, which by the way are not lullabies.
